In Loving Memory of:

Derrick William Beckner
"D-Rock"

The JMU Men's Team would like to express its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Derrick "D-Rock" Beckner for their tragic loss. Derrick was a rising senior and a big part of our volleyball family at JMU. His presence both on and off the court will be missed immensely. Derrick was a hard-working, dedicated, intelligent and talented volleyball player. He was an honor student and an active member of the club serving as the teams Sports Club Council Representative. Most importantly though he was a great friend to all of us.
